Hi, I'm Dana.

I’m a Registered Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience helping people feel more at ease in their bodies. My practice is rooted in the belief that slowing down and receiving care can make all the difference—whether you’re managing pain, moving through life changes, or simply carving out time to rest. I'm here and ready to help!

My Story

When I'm not treating clients, you might find me baking new things, walking in the woods, puzzling, saunaing at the cabin, or getting caught up in a sci-fi book series.

I found my way into massage therapy in my early twenties, when I was searching for a way to do meaningful work—something that would let me help people and be of service in a hands-on way. A single massage treatment, booked for me by my mom (thanks, Mom!), changed everything.

The therapist I saw that day told me about her work with pregnant people through massage and attending births. That conversation sparked something in me—I’d always been fascinated by pregnancy and birth, and suddenly I could see a path that combined those interests with genuine care for others. Within a week, I was enrolled in massage therapy school, and I’ve never looked back.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients through injuries, pregnancies, recoveries, and everyday life. What I love most about this work is the ongoing relationships and trust that builds over time, and the chance to create space for people to feel cared for, grounded, and connected to their bodies.

Massage therapy has not only allowed me to serve others, but it’s also given me a life filled with purpose, flexibility, and joy. I’m deeply grateful to do this work and to continue learning from both my clients and my colleagues every day.

"I’ve been getting massages from Dana for years - she is warm, open, accommodating, but most of all very perceptive. She’s seen me through two pregnancies and post partum periods with so much empathy. No hesitations in recommending Dana and Equilibrium!"

All Bodies Are Good Bodies

All Bodies Are Good Bodies began as something I needed to learn.

I grew up in an era that taught many of us that our bodies needed to be smaller, tighter, smoother, or different to be considered good. Over time — and especially through my work as a massage therapist here in Winnipeg — that belief began to unravel.

After working hands-on with thousands of bodies in my treatment room, I’ve seen the truth up close: bodies are not problems to be solved. They are living, adapting systems that carry us through stress, joy, grief, work, birth, injury, healing, aging, and growth.

There is no past version of your body that was more worthy of care than the one you have right now.

Bodies adapt.

Bodies change.

Bodies carry us through life.

That change is not failure — it’s evidence of living.

Care isn’t earned. It’s deserved.

This collection is rooted in that belief — and in this community. I’ve partnered with We Heart Winnipeg to print these pieces locally as small, wearable reminders of that truth.
